I guess I'm lucky enough that running away didn't make anything worse for me. It certainly did for some of the others along our little adventure, but leaving for the past week was probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. Sometimes you just have to, be gone, you know?

And, it's November 7. You might not know what that means, but that doesn't matter because I do, and that feels so great.

 I am a sucker for palm trees, sand, and sunshine. I'm afraid there isn't much in this world that can keep me away from sunshine. This week, there wasn't anything. Sometimes, life gets hard, and you just sort of have to search for sunshine, despite the consequences.
